Regeneration Group aimed to help keep our church active and alive by
finding improved ways of reaching out to people and by looking at how we
can make improvements in what we do. From 2005 to 2012,
the Regeneration Group introduced a number of new initiatives.
Communion Services which helped to bridge the gap between the Family
Services and the more formal Parish Communion.
Services with Holy Communion which provide an occasional simple
communion service for those who attend our Family Services.
Leaflets and Family Brochures which helped people to learn
more about what we can offer them.
Service Booklets to support our church services.
Church Website which has about 20,000 'hits' each month.
Baptism Preparation DVD (made in co-operation with Luton Sixth Form College) which
shows people what happens when you are baptised in our church.
Walks which help to introduce people to the beauty of our local
Holiday Clubs for children.
Groups for adults who want to explore a little more about the
generated by this group were largely responsible for the Church being a
finalist in the Ecclesiastical Insurance Competition, Your Church in a Changing
group also tried out running a Story Club for around a year which has since been
